I am passionate about the science of nutrition and principals of Functional and Integrative medicine. I love analyzing cutting edge research, and connecting the dots for better health. Rather than just managing symptoms, I try to find root causes of imbalance and work to restore the body’s own ability to regain a state of wellness.
I graduated from University of California, Davis. I also have certifications in Functional Genomics and Integrative Wellness.
In addition to client consultation and nutrition research, I have experience in the tech industry in Product and Program Management.
I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, tennis and rowing. I’m definitely a culinary enthusiast and enjoy creating yummy nutritious recipes, using cooking as a way to de-stress. In addition, I like to try different biohacking lifestyle strategies to optimize my health and productivity, such as practicing mindfulness, intermittent fasting, and targeted supplementation – just to name a few.
On a personal note, I feel like we’re seeing a rise in health issues, anxiety, frustration…We see it on the news, in our schools, and communities. There’s an onslaught of factors impacting us on a daily basis – toxins, additives, pesticides, and processed food. These can disturb our gut microbiome, hormones, neurotransmitters, brain and muscle function – affecting our energy, concentration, motivation and wellbeing. I see it surround me, family and friends, and am compelled to take action. And now more than ever we need to be at our optimal health.
So I’m truly fascinated by Functional Genomics and Epigenetics to help heal dysregulation and inflammation. I want to help you up-level your vitality and transform into your best self.
